These images are part of a typological work consisting of 107 photographs.
The front of a car in automotive design is conceived as its face, so in this series, I created the portrait of the car and indirectly that of its owner through the color, brand, model, any stickers, and signs of use.
To go further in the portrait of the car, the digital version includes the sound of each car’s engine, whenever possible. This reflects the idea of "what’s under the hood," even though sometimes the engine is at the rear; it still remains an important part of the car’s personality.

La retouche quant à elle, est là pour nettoyer la voiture retirer ce qui perturbe visuellement. Je ne les repare pas, car c’est l’âme de la voiture, mais je cherche juste à la rendre comme elle « doit être ». J’aime beaucoup comparer mes retouches au terme italien Sprezzaturra : l’art d’avoir une tenue très travaillée tout en laissant des détails imparfaits. De part leur nature, ces détails affirment l’image en tant que photographie et non en tant que dessin ou reconstitution numérique.
